Well, this has to be one of the most famous sights in toyshops over the long period it was available. From it's release in 1965 until the redesigned, and far inferior, 1996 version appeared, this was THE version to have. The box design changed three times before 1996 but the contents remained the same.

It was always a very basic floor plan layout but that never worried us. We knew it was The Ballroom cos it had Ballroom printed on it.

The original suspects...
...such a familiar sight from the glamorous Miss Scarlet to the elegant Mrs. Peacock. Who would have thought these delightful people would commit so many murders over the years.
But with such a choice of weapons.....what could you expect?
There was a slight change to the Detective Note sheets for the 1995 version and they gave us a "Notes" section to the right. Also, for the first time, the box claimed "Original CLUEDO" which carried over to the following years 1996 release.
There have been many CLUE/CLUEDO's released over the years. Some have failed to capture the imagination, some have been excellent and a better layout than this version but after a good evenings CLUEDO someone always says....go on get the original out let's have a go with that.
