After the relatively dull 1996 edition, 2000 brought us a new improved version. The characters are all a lot younger now and were later used again in the Top Cards game in 2003. Colonel Mustard is now a very handsome young Soldier while Plum & Green seem to have shed about 30 years between them.
Once again, like in the 96 version, the cards tell a short story about the characters, weapons and rooms.
Like the previous version, the playing figures are small, grey plastic and fit into coloured bases. The weapons are still very small, silver colour and the rope is still plastic :(
Like all the later CLUEDO's the board is very colourful, probably making up for all the years the American CLUE's gave us multi colour while the UK stayed so long with the famous "floor plan" board.
