CLUEDO CARD GAME FRENCH VERSION (1999)

This is basically the same as the 1990 English card game. My first European CLUEDO that I bought was the French 1996 edition. I remember at the time being disappointed by the fact that the characters on the front of the box were not the characters on the cards within, which turned out to be my least favourite set. Once again here, it is the same situation. The only difference being that the suspects appear in much larger detail and look a lot better, if more dodgier, than before.

In fact, I had to wait until I purchased the 1993 German version of CLUEDO before I got the characters from the front of the French boxes actually on the playing cards!

So back to this game. There are only a couple of differences between this and the 1990 version. Beforehand, the cards were numbered 1 - 3. This time they are numbered 1 - 4. This makes 48 cards in comparison with the 40 cards previously. The same rules apply to the Dagger, Candlestick, Revolver & Rope cards.

The only other difference is that this time there are no master cards so there is no losing points at the end of the game. The game rules come on two game sized cards so could possibly be used as spares at a later date.

So that's the French version of the card game. Just as much fun and the chance to see those dreadful suspects up close & in more detail!!!!!
