CLUEDO IN BELGIAN CHOCOLATE (2007)

Ten years ago we had the After Dinner Mint version of CLUEDO. Now they've done it again but this time with Belgian chocolates.
The characters & board are identical to the 2003 edition but the board is printed here on a very flimsy piece of quad fold card.
There are 33 playing pieces all made from chocolate. The suspects & weapons all represented twice and nine room represented just the once.
The extra suspect & weapon pieces are used to place in the rooms as accusations are made and coloured counters are used for player movement around the board. The other 21 pieces are used as normal play cards and three are placed face down by the board and someone has the onerous task of shuffling 18 pieces of chocolate and dealing them out :) Strangely, as this game can only really be played properly once, there are 12 detective note sheets. Well, I suppose you could play it with the empty wrappers!
There is no rule book, the rules are on the back of the box. These state that at the end of the game the winner divides the chocolates between the players who may then eat the game. I think if i ever play this game, the chocs may be scoffed during play :))
Unlike the earlier After Dinner Mint version whose chocs are well past the sell by date, I have bought this in good time as the chocs are good until 30th April 2009 so I have over a year to decide whether to play the game or save it for posterity. Hmmmmm, what a waste of Belgian chocolates..!!!
