CLUEDO 50th ANNIVERSARY TRAVEL EDITION (1999)

I actually ordered this one from E-Bay in error believing I was ordering the normal 50th Anniversary Edition. So I was pleasantly surprised to receive it.
Similar, of course, to the standard one this one had a few subtle differences.
The rule book, firstly, came in English, French, German, Italian & Spanish. I believe this was sold at a gift shop at Heathrow Airport so was obviously intended for the European traveller.
The weapons are the same as the 50th Anniversary set but the cards, although with the same designs, now have the character, weapon and room names in five languages.
The playing board was approximately half the size of its normal counterpart and for the first time did not have the room names shown. Around the board, too, the start spaces actually showed the face of the character starting there. I believe (unless someone knows better) that this was the first time either had been done.
Finally, the other major change was the detective note pad which did not simply list all the names but featured a wider range with small pictures.
All in all, a very satisfying version and the best of the Travel sets!
