CLUEDO INTERNATIONAL EDITION (1970)

This unusual edition was printed in 1970. It features the basic board and cards but the inside of the box has a unique design featuring six small compartments for the weapons.

Another nice feature is the inclusion of six score pencils each one bearing a suspect colour. Originally, I only had 5 pencils with Colonel Mustard missing but have just bought a second copy of this game with all six pencils intact. Colonel Mustard is, however, brown and not yellow strangely enough.

The instruction Booklet illustrated above has the rules in English, German, French & Italian. The red one is the one from my original set, the smaller white one is from my latest set.

The board is a standard version. I stand to be corrected but I think this is the only time that the board has the fold through the Dining Room and Billiard Room whereas all my other sets have the fold from top to bottom through the Ballroom and the Hall.
