ITALIAN CLUEDO - INCHIESTA APERTA (1969)
Inchiesta Aperta - Open Inquiry, to give it it's literal "Yahoo! Babel Fish" translation. Hailing from Italy this 1969 edition has some interesting Suspect Cards.
Once again on a European CLUEDO we have a suspect colour/sex change. This time the blue character is male (Col. Pavone, which translates as Col. Peacock) and the plum character is female.
The weapons are the usual bunch.
The Candeliere, Corda, Pugnale & Rivoltella translate as The Candlestick, Rope, Dagger & Handgun. The Chiave Inglese & Tubo Di Piombo translate as English Key & Tube Di Piombo!!! Thanks Babel Fish for those two.
The board is a standard one but with uncoloured starting squares, green rooms and orange movement squares. Although in the normal positions, the player sequence is different. The order now is Scarlet (Signorina Rossella), Peacock (Colonel Pavone), White (Signora Bianca), Green (Dott. Verde), Plum (Sigbora Lilla) & Mustard (Prof. Limon)
So that's the main differences and another good set. Below are the detective notes, solution envelope & the inner box.
