Quiz From METRO Newspaper (2005)

There is a free newspaper given out at Underground stations in London called The Metro. Towards the back of the paper there is a daily puzzle page and one of the puzzles is called ENIGMA. This involves a short rhyme from which you have to guess what is being described.
While reading the paper at work today (Tuesday 8th November 2005) I spotted this one.

Can anyone guess the answer!!!???!!

The answer is at the bottom of the page upside down as it is in the Newspaper. To read the answer, simply turn your computer upside down or, alternately, stand on your head!!
