A PLETHORA OF PEACOCK'S

This is a collection of Mrs. Peacock's throughout the years. In her time she has been known as Mrs. Peacock, Frau Frohlich, Mme Pervenche, Mme. Sapil & Baronin von Porz as well as being played by various characters in themed CLUEDO'S including Elizabeth Peacock, Velma (Scooby Doo), Marge Simpson and Donald & Daisy Duck! She has also been Lidda, The Halfling Rogue & Master Bates (Well Captain Pugwash got away with it)!!! In addition, pictures 07, 08 & 39 show her as Marques de Marina, Capitano Azzurro & Sydney Schlurper. This is because the Spanish & Swiss versions of Cluedo had a couple of changes to the characters. In these versions, the blue character is male so I have placed them here. You will notice that on the Colonel Mustard page, his Spanish & Swiss characters are female. For more information on the Spanish & Swiss Versions of Cluedo. Click here. 1.Spanish   2.Swiss.  In version 39, the 2008 Vimto Cluedo, the Blue & Green characters once again change sex.

Finally, version 14 also shows her as a male but as this is the Japanese Homicide Mansion version I cannot read the name and, like the Korean version, it is just referred to (by me) as the Blue player and version 37 from The Private Dick game shows her also as a male character.
This is a collection of 39 versions of Mrs. Peacock. Below the pictures is a numbered list saying from which version each card comes. Some, of course, like number 1 here have appeared in several versions (i.e. 1949, 1965, 1983, 1990 & 1995 versions of original CLUEDO) but for this page, I am only listing the version that this card came from.

TOP THREE FAVOURITE PEACOCK'S

1.                2.               3.

Mrs. Peacock, my other favourite character along with Scarlet. First place had to go to the ultimate Peacock - version 1, so well remembered from my hours of Cluedo play as a child. 2nd place goes to version 34, such a great set for characterizations. 3rd place goes to version 22, another glamorous Mrs. Peacock pose. Just as it should be, unlike...

AND THE WORST MRS. PEACOCK IS...

Taking away the obvious Korean, Dungeons & Dragons or male versions of Mrs. Peacock, this version number 9 is just a really uninteresting version of the character and comes from the same set as my least favourite Miss Scarlet.
