01. 1995 Version of CluedoThis is a collection of Reverend Green's
throughout the years. In his time he has been known as Reverend Green, Mr. Green, Herr Keller,
Dr. Olive, Captain Rebel, Professor Verde & Herr Director Grun as well as being played by
various characters in themed CLUEDO's including Jimmy Savile, Fred (Scooby Doo),
Homer Simpson, Pluto & Pete. He has also been Regdar, The Human Fighter &
Private Parts!!! In
addition, picture 07 shows him as Sra. Prado. This is due to the Spanish version
changing almost all the characters colours. The Mustard and Peacock characters
are reversed, Mrs. White is a green character and thus appears here, Mr. Green
is black and appears on the White page (there is no White character) and
Professor Plum is now an orange character and appears thus on the Plum page.
Only Miss Scarlet remains the same. For more information on the Spanish Version of Cluedo
click here. Finally, versions 14 & 41 show him as a
female. The first is the Japanese Homicide Mansion version but I cannot read the
name and, like the Korean version, it is just referred to (by me) as the Green
player. The second is Bella Beverage in the 2008 Vimto
CLUEDO in which the Green & Blue characters change sex.
There is one extra Reverend Green as the CLUE
Limited Edition had an American Mr. Green and the English
50th Anniversary Travel Edition had the
English Reverend so both are here as, although the rest of the characters looked
the same, these two are totally different.

numbered list saying from which version each card comes. Some, of course, like
number 1 here have appeared in several versions (i.e. 1949, 1965, 1983, 1990 &
1995 versions of original CLUEDO) but for this page, I am only listing the

Normally, the Green character is more interesting when he is a Reverend but first place goes to version 21s Mr. Green. The Franklin Mint set is such a nice set but only two cards from it made a top 3. I just like the outfit and the sheer simplicity of the shot. 2nd place goes to version 24 - the younger Reverend from the CD Rom version. 3rd place goes to version 1, another well remembered image from my childhood. AND THE WORST REVEREND (MR.) GREEN IS...
Taking away the obvious Korean, Dungeons & Dragons or female versions of Reverend/Mr. Green, this version, number 23, comes from a set where the other five suspects are really great characterizations but this one just looks so totally bland!
