Just a slightly harder novice game this time. Almost everyone's fingerprints were on the gun this time but only Mrs. White did not own up to touching it although her fingerprints were on it. It took a while to find the clue to the room but a shattered coffee cup on the floor of the KITCHEN soon ended the doubt. The solution is :-
MRS. WHITE with the GUN in the KITCHEN.
In this game, Colonel Mustard & Mr. Green are to be found in the HALL, Mrs. Peacock in the KITCHEN, Miss Scarlett in the BALLROOM, Professor Plum in the CONSERVATORY and Mrs. White in the LIBRARY.

No tell tale fingerprints this time. Only Mr. Green handled the Candlesticks but one was found hidden newly wiped clean! The blood stained mat from the CONSERVATORY was found rolled up at the back of the KITCHEN cupboard. So, on to alibi's. Plum, Green & White all confirm each others stories while Scarlett and Peacock were together at the time of the murder. Not hard to work out what the sixth suspect was doing!!! The solution is :-
COLONEL MUSTARD with the CANDLESTICK in the CONSERVATORY.
In this game, Colonel Mustard & Mr. Green are to be found in the HALL, Professor Plum in the KITCHEN, Miss Scarlett in the CONSERVATORY, Mrs. Peacock in the BILLIARD ROOM and Mrs. White in the LIBRARY.

By this time, I was realising that any change in a weapon was normally a good pointer. All weapons seem to be in their usual place and only the lead piping was out of place. As Mrs. White touched it and it was found without fingerprints it must have been put to some dastardly purpose!! The unexplained billiard cue and balls was a good pointer to the murder room. But who was the murderer?? When Mrs. White said she was in the LIBRARY at the time of the murder with Professor Plum & Miss Scarlett, but Mr. Green stated he and Mrs. White were in the LOUNGE at the time. It was only when Professor Plum confirmed Mrs. White's story that the guilty party was unmasked! The solution is :-
MR. GREEN with the LEAD PIPING in the BILLIARD ROOM.
Candlesticks - Found in the CONSERVATORY. Fingerprints of Mr. Green.
Gun - Found in the LIBRARY. Fingerprints of Mr. Green, Colonel Mustard & Professor Plum.
Knife - Found in the LOUNGE. Fingerprints of Mrs. Peacock & Miss Scarlett.
Lead Pipe - Found in the KITCHEN. Fingerprints of Mrs. White.
Rope - Found in the CONSERVATORY. No fingerprints.
Wrench - Found in the HALL. Fingerprints of Mrs. White & Professor Plum.
Although this is only the second CD, this was the last story I did. What a corker. The Rope wasn't in it's normal place of the STUDY so I had a good idea of the weapon. The clue to the murder room was a bit tricky to find but the high heel shoe impression on the back of Mr. Boddy's chair finally gave the game away. Obviously a bit of leverage was needed, so it had to be the Rope. The alibi's were a bit tricky too but it was soon confirmed that Mustard and Plum were together in the LIBRARY at the time and, Partners in Crime, Mrs. White and Mr. Green were indeed in the KITCHEN together. Mrs. Peacock joined Miss Scarlett in the DINING ROOM and looked like the guilty party - but I needed more proof. Professor Plum gave me that proof with the final bit of evidence. He had seen Mrs. Peacock hurrying along to the CONSERVATORY where the Rope was found. And she said she hadn't seen any Rope!! You just can't believe anybody nowadays!!! The solution is :-
MRS. PEACOCK with the ROPE in the STUDY.
