THE SIMPSONS CLUE - VERSION THREE (2007)

This version was issued seven years after the original Simpsons CLUE featuring metal playing pieces and five years after the Simpsons CLUE tin featuring plastic full colour playing pieces. The victim is the same but everything else is different. As the box blurb says "Mr. Burns Gets It...Again! Once again, the notorious Mr. Burns has been bumped off - this time at the opening gala of the Springfield Natural History Museum. In a typical display of incompetence, Chief Wiggum has rounded up six suspects, dressed them up as CLUE characters, and given them 24 hours to solve the crime."

The suspects have changed for this version.

Lisa who was Miss Scarlet has now become Mrs. Peacock
Krusty who was Colonel Mustard is not in this version
Waylon Smithers who was Mrs. White is also absent
Homer who was Mr Green has now become Professor Plum
Marge who was Mrs. Peacock has now become Mrs. White
Bart who was Professor Plum has now become Colonel Mustard
Edna Krabappel & Fat Tony join the suspects as Miss Scarlet & Mr. Green respectively

The weapons are all artefacts from the Museum & naturally, the rooms are all Museum rooms. It's another nicely detailed board but I always seem to have trouble photographing boards with my crappy camera.

The playing pieces are nicely designed plastic characters and the weapons are made from zinc.

So, basically, it's the same as previous Simpson's CLUE games but with a different crime. Nice to look at, but nothing special.
