WALT DISNEY TOWER OF TERROR CLUE (2007)

...Or to give it it's proper name - Walt Disney The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. A great follow up to the Haunted Mansion CLUE from 2002. Pluto has been replaced by Pete (no relation :) ) for this version.
It's Hollywood, 1939 - The Golden Age of Movies. The setting is the Majestic Hollywood Tower Hotel, where director Donald Duck is filming the final scenes of his next big picture. Cast members are ready to roll film, each in a different location in the Hotel, each with a different movie prop. Suddenly, an ominous storm fires massive lightning bolts at the Hotel, causing the caged elevators to tumble and the lights to flicker, terrifying the cast. All soon realise that one of the cast has disappeared from somewhere in the Hotel with one of the movie props.
Taken from the rule book - You have to find out who is missing, from where & with which movie prop.
So onto the suspects. They are a great set of superbly drawn cards as you would come to expect from the Disney Studios. This time round Minnie Mouse is The Starlet, Donald Duck The Director, Mickey Mouse as The Leading Man, Pete as The Agent, Daisy Duck as The Child Star & Goofy as The Bellhop.
The Movie Props are The Camera, Clap Board, Film Reel, Mickey Statuette, Room Key & Script.
The rooms contain The Lounge, Kitchen, Billiard Room & Library from the original game with the other five rooms being replaced with The Lobby, Boiler Room, Tip Top Club, Terrace and Guest Room 1313. The board is similar to the Haunted Mansion and shows the floor plan of The Hotel.
I could not get a really decent picture of the board so have taken one close up of The Boiler Room to show the detail.
The playing tokens are a wonderful set. The "Pete" playing piece is pretty huge and quite heavy. The props are superb with the luxurious Golden Mickey statuette and the small key with fob on the chain.
The suspects envelope has a "Do Not Disturb" sign on one side and the CLUE and Tower of Terror Logos on the other.
Another great set from The USA with some wonderful playing pieces and card designs.
