TALKING CLUEDO SFX (2003)

CLICK ON THE THUMBNAILS TO OPEN THE LARGER PICTURE

This is a wonderful version of CLUEDO. The usual six suspects are joined by two new ones, Mrs. Meadow-Brook and Rusty The Gardener.

However, for this version you play one of four brand new "sleuths" so this version is only for 2-4 players. The four new sleuths are Lord Grey, Lady Lavender, Miss Peach and Prince Azure.

Along with the normal Murder Cards envelope where the three "solution" cards are placed, each of the eight suspects has their own envelope.

In each of these you place one card. During the game you find the suspects in the grounds of Tudor Mansion. When you do, you may check the card inside the envelope thus eliminating the suspect, weapon or room inside.

THE NEW WEAPONS

Each of the locations in Tudor Mansion have their own sounds built in and you are given clues to the whereabouts of suspects by hearing certain sounds play before moving. Plus you also have the wonderful vocal narration to aid you. All this plus Inspector Brown who appears early in the game and also can be found in the grounds. When you think you have the solution you must then find the Inspector in order to make your final accusation.

THE NEW LOCATIONS

This HAS to be my favourite version just for the sheer enjoyment factor. Hearing Mrs. Peacock saying "Hello Handsome" to the male sleuths and Mrs White when being found saying in a Scottish accent!!!???  "Och don't go sneaking up on people" :)

The board (Shown below) has nine locations. You simply move from one location to another, thus saving the throwing of a dice. At the front right of the Mansion are seven bushes. These all have different functions.

1) This is pressed after a turn has ended, the computer then randomly tells who is to move next. If two players are playing then it just alternates but if three or four play, beware, you may have moved first last time but you could this time be third or fourth!

2) Each turn, when you land on a location, the narrator tells you any suspects that are there also enabling you to look at the card within that characters envelope. You may now either make a normal accusation of the other players, or search for any hidden suspects. The second bush is the search button for this purpose.

3) If you miss any of the instructions on your turn you may press the third bush which will repeat the last instruction.

4) If you think you know the correct solution and have found Inspector Brown you press the fourth "Final" bush to show that you are ready to make an accusation.

5) The "Yes" bush, used to set up who is playing at the start of the game and for making a final accusation.

6) The "No" bush as above.

7) Players taking to long to make a move??  Press the seventh bush to hurry them up :))
